COOKIE POLICY
ScoutIQ uses a small number of cookies, and they exist to make the product work — not to follow you around the internet. We do not sell data and we do not run advertising trackers.
01WHAT WE USE
Session cookie — set when you sign in so the service knows it is you on your next request. It is httpOnly (JavaScript cannot read it), marked secure in production, and set to SameSite=Lax so it is not sent on cross-site requests.
Preference storage — small values your browser keeps so the app remembers things like which view you were last using.
Stripe — when you open the billing portal or checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. Those are governed by Stripe's policy.
02WHAT WE DO NOT USE
No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no cross-site tracking, and no selling of browsing data.
We do not embed third-party social trackers on the marketing site.
03MANAGING COOKIES
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and prevent you from using the product, because it is how the service keeps you logged in.
Because we only use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service or to process a payment you asked for, we do not show a consent banner. If that changes, we will add one. Questions about this page go to support@officialscoutiq.com.
