These terms are an agreement between you and ScoutIQ. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Read the sections on eligibility, billing, and the limits of what a grade means — those matter most.
01Who Can Use ScoutIQ
You must be at least 13 years old to hold a ScoutIQ account. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms with you, and they are responsible for the account.
If you create an account on behalf of a school, team, or program, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.
You are responsible for keeping your password and account access secure, and for everything done through your account.
02Subscriptions And Billing
Eligible first-time Player subscribers can start a 3-day trial through checkout. If your checkout includes a trial, Player Access is $79.99 per month after it ends unless you cancel first. Without a trial, the first charge happens at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for.
Payments are processed by Stripe. ScoutIQ does not receive or store your full card number. Prices may change, and we will give notice before a change affects a renewal.
Program pricing is quoted separately and may be governed by an additional written agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.
03Your Film And Your Content
You keep ownership of film and other content you own and upload. You do not transfer it to us.
For content you own, you grant ScoutIQ a limited licence to store, process, transmit, and analyze it strictly to provide the service to you and the people you share it with. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies retained in routine backups for a limited period. If you upload film on behalf of a school or program that owns it, the program's account and agreement govern that film; closing your personal account does not end the program's rights or remove its film.
You must have the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload film you are not permitted to use, film that belongs to a school or league without permission, or film containing people who have not consented to appear.
If you believe content on ScoutIQ infringes your copyright, contact us at the address below with enough detail to identify the work and the material in question, and we will investigate and remove infringing material where appropriate.
04What A Grade Is — And Is Not
ScoutIQ produces automated grades, corrections, and reports generated in part by artificial intelligence. They are informational tools for training and development.
Grades are not guarantees. ScoutIQ does not promise recruitment, a scholarship, a roster spot, playing time, exposure to any college or program, or any particular athletic or academic outcome.
Automated analysis can be wrong or incomplete. Do not treat a ScoutIQ grade as a medical, safety, eligibility, or professional evaluation, and do not rely on it as the sole basis for a decision about an athlete.
05Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. The specific rules are in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, that creates risk or legal exposure, or that is used to harass or endanger anyone — including, where the situation warrants it, without prior notice.
06Service Availability
We work to keep ScoutIQ available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature in a way that materially reduces what you bought, you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your current period.
07Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoutIQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, lost recruitment, or lost data.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid ScoutIQ in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
08Changes And Contact
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will give notice through the service or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use ScoutIQ after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

09Free Fan Locker Room
A free fan account is separate from ScoutIQ business accounts and is for people aged 13 and older. It has no school, film-analysis, recruiting, or paid-team entitlement. Use a separate business login if you also work with a school or program. Keep your email access and one-time sign-in codes secure.
You must accept the current house rules before posting. Debate about sports is welcome; slurs, threats, sexual content, doxxing, abuse targeting minors, betting discussion and betting links are not. Do not post high school athletes' identifying information in fan rooms. New fan accounts cannot post images or links during their first 24 hours. Further rate limits and safety reviews may apply.
Use the in-app report, block, and mute controls or email [email protected] to raise concerns. ScoutIQ staff review reported content and can remove posts, warn, suspend, or ban accounts. We aim to review reports within 24 hours; contact support immediately for urgent safety concerns. Reporting does not guarantee a particular moderation decision.
You keep rights to content you own. By posting in a fan room, you authorize ScoutIQ to display that content to the room, to produce share cards, and to feature a staff-selected comment with its fan handle. Other members may share cards outside the service. Do not submit content you are not permitted to share. We do not grant permission to reuse third-party sports footage, logos, or league content.
Fan access has no purchase requirement and offers no wagering or prizes. Third-party scores and plays may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. ScoutIQ is not affiliated with or endorsed by the sports-feed provider or any league unless expressly stated.
